Decorations

So we recently met to pick out all our flowers, cake, and decorations. We will be doing lilies for the flowers and the cake will be really similar to the one I posted before. As for the decorations we will have some really cute center pieces and this picture is what we will have hanging from the ceilings in both of the rooms : ballroom and reception room.

I just think they are so cute!!! We are going to have a mixture of champagne and ivory swags. We will also have chair sashs similar to the ones in this picture.

I can't wait to see all of it come together. It will look so cute!!

Flower Girl & Caden's Tux

I found the dress that I'm ordering for my niece, Kennedy, our flower girl. It is soo cute!!!

And Caden pulled up a picture of his tux for me... and this is what it will look like (except the vest and tie will be champagne :)

He will look very handsome :)

Hair Inspiration

Trying to decide how I want to wear my hair for the wedding has been crazy. I thought I knew how I wanted it, half up, half down, curled. Like this...

But then I was thinking, do I want something different? I wear my hair down and curled ALL THE TIME!! I talked to Jessica and she said having it curled off to the side would be really pretty... now I'm confused. I think that would be really cute too, but would it work with a veil?

Now I'm lost... but it's a debate between the two of those styles. Unless I fall in love with something different :)

Flowers & Cakes

In a couple weeks we are going to be picking out our flowers and our cake. I'm really excited to be doing this. I LOVE Lilies and Calla Lilies and those are what I want. I have posted a bunch of ideas that I have...

This is what I want for my bridesmaids This is another bouquet that doesn't fit my "lilies", but I just think it is SO dang cute. (but in ivory of course)

When it comes to the cake, we love the square shaped cakes and here is a picture of a cake that we think is REALLY cute!!!

The Attire :)

Our colors for our wedding are champagne, ivory, gold (maybe), and now recently black.

Caden chose his tux and his groomsmen attire... Caden is going to be wearing an ivory tuxedo with coat tails with a champagne vest and tie and his groomsmen will be in black tuxedos with the same champagne vest and tie. I don't have pictures of these tuxedos, but they look AWESOME!
My bridesmaid dresses are champagne with a black waistband...
My mom and Sue have also chosen some really pretty champagne dresses. Everyone will look very nice. I'm so excited to see everything all come together. It will look great :)

Oh and OF COURSE I have chosen my dress already, but I can't post the picture of that either. It's a surprise! :)

The Canterbury Place

So we chose The Canterbury Place as the location of our wedding and reception. It is in Bountiful, Utah and it is very pretty... here are some pictures of the place.

Coming into the blog world...

Well, I'm attempting to try this blog thing. I'm going to use it right now to keep my "wedding plans" organized. I ran across some lady's blog online and she kept ALL her wedding ideas organized on a blog. I loved it, so I'm going to try it. After me and Cade are married, I will continue using it as our Newlywed Blog :)
