2 Year Anniversary

Me and Caden celebrated our 2 year anniversary a couple weekends ago. I cannot believe we have been married for 2 years! Time is just flying by...
We decided that we would take turns planning our anniversary celebration each year and this year it was my turn. I had multiple surprises for Caden this year. First, we went and got pedicures (I promise Caden loves them just as much as I do :)), then we went shopping and each picked out an outfit- We did this because the traditional gift for 2 years is "cotton". After that we drove up to Snowbird and I had a room arranged for us to stay in overnight. We had reservations at the newly renovated "Aerie" restaurant at the hotel we stayed at, it was on the top floor with BEAUTIFUL views... oh and the food was really good too! :)
We had a ton of fun and it was so nice to just get away, even it was just for 1 night. We had planned to got hot tubbing, swimming and hiking while we were there, but after dinner we were so tired that we just laid in bed and watched HGTV.. our new favorite :). I thought it was funny that we ended up just watching "House Hunters" on our night away, but Hey! We had fun and that is all that matters...

Here are some pictures from our day...

Susan G. Komen

This past weekend we completed our first 5 K, however we ended up walking it... there was such a big group of us, that that was the easiest way to do it- Also I have not been training much so I do not think I could have ran it :).

It was such an amazing experience doing this and I think it will be something I will do every year. Like I said we had a big group of us that did this 5K. Our group consisted of me, Caden, Paul, Sue, my mom (Kelly), Dave, Kristen, Marlee, Samantha, Kathy and Grandma Marlys. It was so awesome being able to do this walk, but the most awesome part of it was being able to do it with a survivor, Grandma Marlys.

Here are some pictures of the event..
